Naked man orchid (Orchis italica)

Orchis italica. Woodcut from John Parkinson, Theatrum Botanicum. (London: 1640)

Hello there, you look happy to see me Hahah
Come on now!!???
Where have you been all my life?

Apparently when these were first discovered people thought they were sexual stimulants!! And they would put them into a drink called Salep and sometimes called Sallop in the middle east (they still drink it)
I am so inspired right now!
Thank you nature!
